Premium Service Industry

During the Spring Festival shutdown, fluctuations in temperature and humidity, as well as power outages, can lead to malfunctions such as loss of CNC system parameters, degradation of hydraulic fluid, corrosion of moving parts, and aging of seals. Pre‑holiday professional maintenance—including data backup, fluid replacement, rust prevention, and safety‑system verification—ensures the equipment remains in low‑consumption standby mode, enabling a quick and precise startup after the holiday while avoiding post‑shutdown failures and precision deviations.

0 1
Electrical – System Backup + Battery Replacement:

Dual‑backup machine tool parameters—including lead‑screw and tool compensation—are fully backed up. We also inspect and replace NC system batteries and absolute encoder batteries for FANUC, Siemens, and other brands, ensuring that parameter data is not lost during power outages over holidays.

0 2
Cleaning and Rust Prevention for Moving Parts (Mechanical)

Thoroughly clean the X/Y/Z-axis guideways, ball screws, and spindle taper bore; apply anti-rust grease; replace any damaged dust boots; and finely adjust the guideway clearances to ensure smooth, free movement with no binding.

03
Hydraulic – Complete Replacement of Oil Filter Elements

Drain the old hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic station and clean the reservoir; fill with compatible new hydraulic oil; replace both the suction and return line filters; inspect pipeline fittings for leaks; and replace any aged seals.

04
Air Pressure – Air Source Drying + Three-Component Unit Maintenance

Drain the condensate from the air compressor and air receiver tank, replace the desiccant in the dryer if it has failed, change the filter element in the pneumatic combination unit and replenish the lubricating oil, and drain any residual air from the piping to prevent icing.

05
Electrical – Moisture-Proof Cleaning of Electrical Cabinets
Clean the electrical cabinet.
Replace the sealing strip.

Use low-pressure air to clean the interior of the electrical cabinet, replace any damaged sealing strips, activate the cabinet’s dehumidification/heating system, and verify that all cables are undamaged and that all terminals are securely connected.

06
Safety – Verification of All Protective Devices

Test the emergency stop button, limit switches, and door interlock devices; replace any malfunctioning components; and verify overload and anti‑collision protection to ensure that the “stop on door opening” and “stop upon activation” functions are operational.

07
Mechanical – Critical Access Return Maintenance

Clean the chip conveyor and adjust the chain tension. Perform a no-load rotation of the tool magazine/robot arm, verify tool changes, then return to the safety position. Release the chuck/clamp to the non-clamped state, and empty the chip collection bin.

08
Hydraulic/Pneumatic – Sealing Pressure Verification

Test the hydraulic/pneumatic system’s rated pressure; ensure stable pressure with no fluctuations. Inspect hydraulic and pneumatic lines for aging, cracking, and damage; tighten all fittings; and organize the piping to prevent kinking or crushing.

09
Electrical – Insulation and Thermal Management of Drive Motors

Clean the servo and spindle motor cooling fans and the filter screen; measure the motor’s insulation resistance (≥0.5 MΩ); tighten the wiring terminals to ensure there are no loose or overheating connections.

10
Complete Machine – Return to Position with Supply Disconnected + Labeling Applied

Return each axis to its mechanical home position, set hydraulic and pneumatic actuators to their non‑pressurized positions, shut off the machine tool’s main power supply, air supply, and hydraulic supply, affix warning signs indicating that power and air are disconnected, and clean the area surrounding the machine tool.

In short, when a long holiday approaches, be sure to perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment in advance to ensure its safe storage during the break and smooth operation upon resumption.
