On December 2, 2024, the fourth session of the seventh council of the China Machinery Maintenance Association was successfully held in Chongqing. At the board meeting, Yang Xuetong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the China Machinery Industry Federation, attended and delivered a speech. Li Yanxia, Chief Engineer of the China Machinery Industry Federation and Chairman of the China Machinery Maintenance Association, presented the 2024 work report on behalf of the Fourth Session of the Seventh Board of Directors and outlined the key priorities for 2025. Nearly 100 participants, including vice chairpersons, directors, representatives of the association, and heads of its branches and representative offices, took part in the meeting. The session was chaired by Xiang Hua, Vice Chairman of the China Machinery Maintenance Association.

Guided by the thorough study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Two Sessions, the meeting reviewed the work of 2024, identified and analyzed existing problems and shortcomings, seized opportunities presented by the new era, formulated the “15th Five-Year Plan” for the equipment aftermarket industry, and outlined key priorities for 2025.

Standing Committee Member Yang Xuetong, on behalf of the China Machinery Industry Federation, fully commended the China Machinery Maintenance and Repair Association for its achievements in standardizing and improving organizational development, defining the association’s strategic positioning, and enhancing its capacity to serve its members. He also put forward four hopes and recommendations for the association’s future development: First, uphold the principle of Party leadership over the association, using Party building to guide high-quality industry growth and proactively plan for the “15th Five-Year Plan” period; second, seize the opportunities of the new era, accelerate the development of the equipment‑service sector, and expedite the intelligent, green, and high‑end transformation of China’s manufacturing industry; third, fully leverage the roles of the board members, pool resources from all sectors, foster collaborative innovation, and pursue shared progress; and fourth, adhere to both upholding fundamental principles and pursuing innovation, strengthen internal capacity building, further enhance the association’s service capabilities and standards, and bolster its cohesion.

The meeting heard a work report for 2024 presented by Chairperson Li Yanxia, who noted that in 2024 the association upheld the guiding principle of “strengthening Party building to drive development.” In alignment with the national policies on the “Two New” initiatives and green, dual‑carbon goals, the association focused on equipment operation and maintenance support, digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading, and remanufacturing. Through in-depth implementation across areas such as unlocking industry potential, building service platforms, exploring new service models, and standardizing innovative development, the association achieved notable results. Looking ahead to 2025, she outlined key priorities: first, steadfastly uphold Party leadership and comprehensively strengthen the core role of Party organizations; second, conduct thorough industry research and formulate a development plan; third, innovate service approaches and deliver on three major projects; fourth, zero in on the sector’s most pressing challenges, develop targeted solutions, and provide robust support for industrial growth; fifth, deepen member services to foster high‑quality development of the equipment‑service industry; and sixth, continue rigorous industry research to anticipate trends in equipment development and future service needs.

Deng Ye, Chairman of Youfu Industrial, took the stage to present in detail, alongside experts from various fields, Youfu Industrial’s innovative initiatives and notable achievements in the aftermarket services sector for CNC machine tools.

Wu Shidong, Vice President of Industrial Operations at Youfu, stated that as technology continues to advance and market demands evolve, the CNC machine tool aftermarket services sector is encountering unprecedented opportunities and challenges. To address these challenges, Youfu Industrial will continue to ramp up R&D investment, enhance its technological innovation capabilities, and steer traditional manufacturing after-sales services toward greater intelligence and higher value. At the same time, the company will strengthen exchanges and collaborations with domestic and international peers, working together to build a more robust and comprehensive industry ecosystem.
