Industry group standard

Dedicated to the real economy, with unwavering progress.

Recently, two group standards drafted under the leadership of the China Association for Maintenance and Retrofitting of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment have been released. T/CAMER 072—2026 “General Specification for Capability Assessment of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Overhaul Enterprises,” T/CAMER 073—2026 “Specification for Capability Assessment of CNC Equipment Maintenance and Overhaul Enterprises” Officially released and effective from June 15, 2026. Youfu Industrial Services (Group) Co., Ltd., as a drafting entity, has actively participated in the development of two standards, contributing its practical experience to the industry’s standardized growth.

Mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and renovation constitute a vital component of the industrial equipment aftermarket, encompassing services such as equipment inspection and repair, technological upgrades, relocation and installation, and operations‑and‑maintenance support. For a long time, enterprises in this sector have varied widely in size and capability, lacking a unified benchmark for assessing competence. Consequently, there has been no standardized quantitative framework for evaluating firm qualifications, staffing levels, equipment readiness, or service quality, thereby hindering the industry’s move toward high‑quality development. The release of these two group standards addresses critical gaps in the industry’s evaluation system, providing an authoritative basis for third‑party certification bodies to conduct enterprise capability assessments and for companies to undertake self‑evaluations of their own capabilities.

T/CAMER 072—2026

Among them, T/CAMER 072—2026 as the top-level general specification , establishing a comprehensive assessment framework. The standard sets out general requirements covering enterprise legal status, quality management systems, premises and equipment, personnel competence, document management, workplace safety, and green innovation, while outlining the entire process—from application and acceptance to review, approval, and public announcement—and instituting a supervision and management mechanism. It applies to all types of enterprises engaged in the maintenance, repair, and modification of mechanical and electrical equipment.

T/CAMER 073—2026

T/CAMER 073—2026 Focusing on Niche Segments of CNC Equipment Under the Common Criteria framework, specific implementation guidelines have been established, introducing a three-tier capability rating—A, AA, and AAA—for CNC equipment such as machine tools, industrial control systems, automated production lines, and industrial robots. Quantitative assessment criteria are defined across multiple dimensions, including registered capital, revenue scale, staffing levels, testing instruments, technical expertise, after-sales response time, and customer satisfaction. In addition, a specialized classification for machine tool maintenance and modification has been clearly delineated, encompassing diverse service scenarios spanning mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation integration domains.

072—2026
073—2026

Both standards adopt a problem‑oriented approach, incorporating safety and environmental protection, records management, customer service, and green services as mandatory requirements. They specify record retention periods, after‑sales response timeframes, and criteria for determining nonconformities, thereby translating enterprises’ practical operational experience into standardized provisions.

As a drafting unit of the standard, Youfu Industrial has integrated its years of frontline experience in equipment operation and maintenance, digital transformation, and production‑line services into the standard’s development. Moving forward, the company will rigorously align with the standard’s requirements, continuously refine its technical service capabilities, and actively promote the standard’s implementation and adoption, thereby helping the industry establish a scientific and impartial enterprise capability‑assessment framework and driving the electromechanical equipment maintenance and remanufacturing sector toward greater standardization and professionalization.
